Fuel Filter

seat alhambra 1.9 w plate...everytime i accelerate hard the engine misfires for a second checked diesel filter today and its only half full.. could anyone shed any light on this please.....thanx

Have you tried filling it up, run it for 20 mins around town, check it again?

 

My first thought would be partly clogged fuel lines if it is still half full after a run, but hey I'm no mechanic just my thoughts.
